The directions on the 1st step had the sides being put on the opposite end it said to do. So after most was put together had to take apart to 1st step.
On the cylinder for the lid, we followed the holes that was pre-drilled and after getting the cylider on, shut it and it popped the lid off the back next to the hindges. Cylinders holes were not were they were to be. After this occurred we decided not to not use the cylinder. It's still a nice piece of furniture though. I would recommend but have them look the directions closely before preceeding putting it together.

Product looks good in the picture. after i got it home i was missing some hardware pieces. Also there are some bad spots and chuncks missing in the wood. There was also alot of red lines all over this, must have been where they were marking to cut it or under the underneath wood had red markings until they painted it over with black. Also some of the directions tell you how to do it step by step and found out some of the steps make you put it together wrong. Basically i had to do it by looking at the picture, bought the missing hardware i needed and used a black sharpie to cover up all teh red lines. Can't do anything about the chips and chunks that were missing in the wood.

I bought it for our house. We started to assemble it, but the back panel is not strong enough to carry mirror part, we couldn't finish assembling it and had to return. I wouldn't recommend it. It's just a poor and cheap design.
