    I spent quite a bit of time finding this gift (wedding shower). When it arrived, I was very pleased. The overall design fits well in either a contempory or traditional setting. It is extremely sturdy, has sufficient hooks for hanging, and was very easy to assemble (just attach the top piece to the bottom and add the finial.)Nice durable black finish too, just the slightest bit of gold fleck here and there. The happy couple loved it and intend to use it in their entry hall.

    This is a great product at a great price. It's made very well and very sturdy. Ordering was very simple and the shipping/delivery time was faster than I expected. The only thing the manufacturer could do to improve upon this coat rack is to put plastic or rubber caps on the legs/feet to protect wooden floors from marks and scratches and end any possible wobbling.

      Pleasantly surprised to receive it so soon. Ordered it on Thursday. Expected it the following Tuesday, but it arrived on Saturday. Some difficulty screwing main shaft to basket base (screw thread would not catch). With a lot of effort on my husband's part, he was able to attach the piece. Attractive and appears stable.

        I love the weight as I put it on my front porch for raincoats and umbrellas BEFORE people enter my home with hardware floors. It is heavy enough to withstand strong winds. BUT the description said there was a finial on the top. I was informed that I must submit my receipt (proof of purchase) to get remedy of my problem. It is not worth the trouble and I am assuming the company is counting on that being the case!

              I searched for a product with some extra weight and good reviews for stability. The product I received was what I expected, but the four feet were not level with one another, so the unit was unstable - - - and stability was my primary product criteria. Hayneedle customer service was phenomenal! I had a replacement in three days and was sent a Fedex label and instructions for returning the original. The new unit is stable, and I think most anyone would be happy with it for the price. As for Hayneedle, I will certainly recommend shopping through them because they demonstrated they are worth of future business.

                I wasn't expecting too much from this stand because of the cheap price but I tried it because of a review it had. After receiving it I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was easy to put together (it took about 30 seconds) and it is a heavily weighted quality piece that loos great in our entry hall. There is plenty of space for coats etc. and it seems to melt into the background. We are very pleased with it and would heartily recommend!
