Bought this item as a gift for a friend's new business/gym space. It has nine hooks which is more than the average coat stand and was one of the reasons I purchased it. I wish that the bottom segment had more weight, it is slightly top heavy since the top is so tall. there is a small chance that it could fall over if pulled on by children. Under normal circumstances, the rack would not topple, but the gym in which our rack is standing sees a lot of children.I am accustomed to assembling thing myself, but this rack definitely needs two people in order for it to come out right. The poles must be threaded down into the joints equally, and very, very tightly in order for the segments to be level, and to keep the three poles from turning as a unit. We had to twist and twist and twist, and it is better for one person to hold the section steady while the other does the twisting. However, our efforts were effective, and the rack looks jut like the picture. [...].Overall, a nice looking coat rack that needs a little too much precision to be a good "some assembly required" product.

The picture was pretty on-line and ordering was easy. The instructions were simple to put the item together, but the top was damaged, then once constructed, the item was crooked and was not as stable as we imagined it would be. We're not pleased and may look in our local home goods stores instead of taking another chance buying on-line.

Cheap red stained wood with plastic hooks. Too cheap looking or any room in my house. Too flimsy for the garage. Steer away from this disaster!
