This is the most helpful piece of furniture I have bought in a long while! I have 3 kids and they have backpacks,jackets and coats for every occasion. This hall rack has made organizing their "stuff" easy and attractive. It was very easy to put together, I did it by myself! I recommend using wood glue on every joint that is screwed together. I believe that it will help the piece maintain its sturdiness. I've received several compliments on how attractive the hall rack looks, even when its full of coats!

The quality of this product was meaningfully below what I expected, especially given the other reviews. The "causal planked panels" are thin, cheap-looking plywood veneers, and mine had a very noticeable flaw right in the front. The color is darker than the nice warm tone that shows on my computer screen. My husband, who is quite handy, couldn't figure out how to put the hinges on the bench top. I kept this item to avoid the hassle of a return, but only because it sits in my mudroom and is mostly covered with coats.

The product is good quality and looks nice. The assembly instructions were not current and caused some reassembly. Would give it a 5 star if not for this.

the quality of the materials was as expected. The wood screws were mislabled leading to using the wrong length in different spots. The diagram was backwards so that it was easy to put the parts the wrong way. The description of the pneumatic rod that holds the cabinet door up was in very poor english, there were plastic ties referred to but no explanation of where they go. once put together the item is very functional at an affordable price

My husband easily assembled in about one hour. The Cherry wood color is beautiful and it looks great in our mud room.
