The coat rack looked exactly like what I ordered. It holds many coats (including heavy, winter coats) without tipping over or looking too bulky. The design is practical and attractive and is perfect for hanging up everyday coats. My husband had to put it together because it looked confusing. However, it didn't seem like too much trouble for him.

This rack looks good but there were a couple of manufacturer issues: 1) the pre-drilled screw holes are a bit too large for the enclosed screws. I had read this in another review and it was true; 2) there was slight crush damage to the edge of the wood surface of the stand that looked like it was inflicted before the item was packed. So I guess someone thought that was acceptable.
