We purchased 2 racks for our mountain cabin and placed one high for adults and one lower for children. Everyone is good about using it and now the children don't leave their coats laying around and they always know where their coats are. Both were placed on a "stud" and are very secure.

Hung on our bathroom wall behind the entry door. Good look. Easy to install, but requires power drill. Pre-drill holes in drywall for anchors (I think I used a 3/16" or 7/32" drill bit for the anchor holes). We hang towels and bathrobes on the rack, so it doesn't bear much weight. To hang heavier objects (coats, bags, etc.), I would recommend hanging the rack on a stud (probably won't hang on two studs since mounting holes are ~22" apart). The hooks are a little close (4.5" apart). All together, I'm satisfied with the product.
